There were 111 regular military, 26 reserve forces, and 14 civilian workers at CFNA Yellowknife at the end of December 2005.

Present Functions

The current functions of CFNA Yellowknife are to provide:

  • co-ordination of CF activities in the north,
  • support to units.
Operational & Support Units
  • Canadian Forces Northern Area HG,
  • 440 Transport Squadron,
  • 1 Field Ambulance DET Yellowknife,
  • 1st Canadian Ranger Patrol Group,
  • Regional Cadet Support Unit (North).
