$66 million in construction at Greenwood

September 24, 2009 -- The Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence and Minister for the Atlantic Gateway, announced an investment in defence infrastructure projects planned for 14 Wing Greenwood. These projects generate economic benefits for the local community, with the potential to create more than 360 direct employment opportunities throughout the course of the work. The announcement represents an overall investment of more than $66 million.

$20 million in construction at Gagetown

September 23, 2009 -- The Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, on behalf of the Minister of National Defence and Minister for the Atlantic Gateway, the Honourable Peter MacKay, announced three infrastructure projects for CFB Gagetown. These projects will generate significant economic benefits for the local region, including direct employment opportunities over the course of the work. The announcement represents an overall investment of more than $20 million.
