My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the men and women serving Canada. What you are giving of yourself and your families is enormous. As a former service member I know what it is like to leave a husband and children at home; also as a mother to be home with just the children. Now my son is serving in Afghanistan. Life at times has been difficult, but it also has been rewarding. I look forward to the next challenge. Sons and daughters of Canada, you and your families deserve more than just medals!! Soldier on.
