Welcome Aboard!

The Canadian Forces invites you aboard HMCS Fredericton for an up-close look at the power and pride of one of Canada’s magnificent frigates.

The ship will be open to the public in seven cities along the Quebec and Ontario shorelines and will provide an opportunity to celebrate the Navy Centennial and view the career opportunities available within the Canadian Forces, specifically the Navy.

Fredericton will depart Halifax August 24 making her first stop in Montréal August 27 and then continuing on to Kingston, Toronto, Hamilton, Oshawa and Cornwall, in Ontario, and Trois-Rivières, Quebec.

While onboard, you will have the opportunity to speak with sailors, ask questions, and hear their heroic, heart-warming, and inspiring stories from their deployments around the world. You can tour the ship, handle some of our sophisticated technology and equipment and get a glimpse of what life in the Navy is like.
